Emergency voice Communication (EVC) or Disabled refuge systems are an important feature to any working buildings health and safety and ensure the safe evacuation of disabled persons that are unable to safely self evacuate the building.

These systems are configured so that persons within the evacuation area can safely communicate with the designated fire officer in the event of a fire alarm activation, these persons can then be quickly and effectively identified and assistance provided to facilitate the safe evacuation
